Appeals - II Commissionerate
After
the re-organization of the Department with effect from 01.07.2017, Commissioner
(Appeals-II) was formed vide Notification No.13/2017-CE (NT) dated 09.06.2017
read with Notification No.17/2017-CE(NT) dated 19.06.2017; and 02/2017-CT dated
19.06.2017. The geographical jurisdiction spreads over specific portions of the
state of Telangana, as laid out in Sl.Nos.65 and 92 of Table-II of the Central Tax
Notification covering Medchal GST Commissionerate and Secunderabad GST Commissionerate.
Appeals – II Commissionerate handles appeals arising out of
orders passed in the above mentioned jusrisdiction in respect of Central
Excise, Service Tax and Central Tax.
Commissioner (Appeals - II) handles appeals in respect of the Central Excise, Service Tax and GST matters whereas Additional Commissioner / Joint Commissioner (Appeals - II) handles matters arising out of orders passed in respect of GST matters only.
